Get Named in AI Answers

How to Get Your Business Recommended by AI

When someone asks AI who to hire, AI names the businesses it can find, understand, and check. Five plain steps make yours easier to name.

Not sure where to start? The free check shows what AI can understand about your website today and which step to do first.

The Short Answer

AI names a business when its pages say plainly what it does, when AI can read those pages, and when other places on the web say the same thing.

Five Steps

What to do, in the order to do it

  1. 1

Say what you do in one plain sentence

AI repeats clear sentences and skips vague ones. "We repair air conditioners for homes in Tampa" gives it something to repeat. "Quality comfort solutions" does not.

Put your sentence at the top of your homepage: what you do, who it is for, and where.

  2. 2

Give each service its own page

A customer asks one question at a time, so give each service one page that answers one question. Start the page with the answer, then add the details.

Write down the five questions customers ask before they hire you. Answer each one in the first two sentences of its page.

  3. 3

Make sure AI can read your pages

AI cannot use facts it cannot see. Prices, hours, and services locked inside images, pop-ups, or a booking widget are invisible to it. Some websites also block the programs AI companies use to read pages, and the owner never knows.

Move your key facts into plain text on the page, then run the free check to see whether AI can reach them.

  4. 4

    Make your facts match everywhere

AI has more reason to believe a fact it finds in several places. If your website says Suite 4 and a directory says Suite 7, it has a reason to doubt both.

Use the same business name, address, phone number, and service list on your website, Google Business Profile, directory listings, and social pages.

  5. 5

Ask AI your customers' questions, then ask again

This shows you what AI says about you today and whether your changes helped. Ask the question a customer would ask, in the words they would use.

Ask ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Perplexity who to hire for your service in your area. Write down who gets named. Ask again in a month.

Common Questions

Before you start

How long before AI starts naming my business?

Nobody can give you a date. AI tools update how they find and use pages on their own schedule. Make one change at a time, ask the same questions every month, and keep what moves the answer.

Do I need a new website to get recommended by AI?

Usually not. Most businesses get further by making the pages they already have clearer, more complete, and more consistent.

How do I know if AI already mentions my business?

Ask it. Type the questions your customers ask into ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Perplexity, and write down who gets named. Then run the free check to see what AI can understand on your own website.

Is this the same as SEO?

They overlap. A page that Google understands is easier for AI to use too. AI answers also lean on facts confirmed in other places on the web, so the work goes beyond your own website.
